‘Ram isn’t a myth.’ -An Open Letter to Sri Karunanidhi

Posted in Current Affairs, Miscellaneous at 12:18 pm by PuneTalks

Dear Karunanidhi-ji,

I am not a Hindu hardliner, but I am a believer in the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Just like the Christians believe in the concept of “The father, Son and the Holy ghost”, my faith in the trinity of Indian Gods is unshakeable.
I believe that lord Ram was born in Ayodhya, just as followers of other faith believe that their Gods were born in other Holy lands.

No one living today has seen the revered Prophet or Lord Jesus and yet people believe that they existed. No one has ever said that they are the figments of someone’s imagination and I too believe that Allah and Jesus are real. They are our protectors and I feel so not because any Archeological survey of India has given me a certificate to prove this but because billions of people all over the world have Allah and Jesus living in their hearts and souls. The merciful Allah and the kind Jesus guide them to be good in their daily lives, every moment and hence they are for real.
Karunanidhi ji. You are an atheist. I respect your right to be one and I expect that you will recognize my right to be a believer.
Lord Ram didn’t fight the Dravidians. He fought the evil and even as he vanquished the monsters, he forgave them and blessed them to enable them to go heavenwards and saved them from going towards hell. I haven’t known if Rama fought the Dravidians on behalf of the Aryans. The Dravidian-Aryan divide is your own theory for your own political survival. You could have just sought Sri Ram’s blessings and worked towards fostering brotherhood between various factions of society and yet won your elections.
Lord Ram is the Vishnu avtaara and if you close your eyes and chant his name with faith and devotion, he will give you his blessings by appearing before you. But you need to shed your political colours and your vituperative venom towards the Almighty to receive his blessings. Trust me that once you do that you will turn a believer.

You would be able to feel his touch and you would fall in love with his captivating smile. You have only to do this once and be child-like in accepting his blessings. You will have goose bumps all over as Lord Ram will touch your soul.
I can win any debate with anyone who says that Ram lives but only in stories. I can prove my point scientifically, philosophically and archeologically but I invite you to take my Sri Ram challenge spiritually.
You will lose this challenge and yet emerge a winner.
May Lord Ram Bless you like he blesses me every moment.
Please forward a copy of this blog to Ms Ambika Soni. She needn’t punish anyone in ASI for rubbishing the faith of millions of ramsewaks. ASI will be there as long as Sri Ram wants it to be. Ram doesn’t need ASI for its being. But we all need Ram for our existence.
Jai Sri Ram!

Shri Ram being mythological is a really stupid statement.
If that’s the case all Gods are mythological. Faith exceeds scientific thinking many a time.
This is a well written article. Short but to the point.
    Keep writing !!

Well written article. Hindustan, the land of hindus…. where 800 million hindus starts their day by saying “ram ram” and they attain heaven at the end of journey by saying “Hey ram”.
For some political benefits dont play with the sentiments of 800 million people.
I am a scientist and I have more proofs to prove that Shri Ram’s existence have more scientific reasons over any other God and if challenged,I can prove that you are a clone made by NASA to disturb India.Better focus on politically taking this country to heights.
    Jai shri ram

Existence of God,whether you call him Ram, allah, Jesus or any other name needs no archeological proof. The proof of his existence needs to be felt through faith and prayers rather than by digging through vastlands.

An atheist can only argue, but not prove that God does not exist. The Archoelogical Survey of India officials are not to be punished as they are upposed to give their report on the basis of evidences, but after writing their report they may have repented and asked for forgiveness from God.

Also God chooses the time to show his existence to an Atheist also nd Mr. Karunanidhi has to wait for that time as he cannot determine the same, and the day he will be touched by God’s hand he will not only be washed of all sins but will also be a changed man and a promoter of the belief.

There is a SUPERPOWER, forget it, by what name you call it. Hindus pray Lord Ram, Christians pray Lord Jesus and Muslims pray to All the Almighty.

Let us use our beliefs and faith to unite the mankind and not to divide it. This is for politicians of all kind.

This is a call to all Indians. Let us move forward and show the World what we were. Let us not get carried away by what politicians say. I feel this topic is being disussed now because of the Ram Setu.

If by making a Indian - Lanka canal we are able to save lot of money and efforts for everyone so that the vessels need not go around Sri Lanka, be it so.

As human beings we should strive always to improve the mankind through out the world.

All of us have very little time in this Earth. Let us give something back to our brothers and sisters and unite the World. Let us not spread hatred and divide the World.

Short, crisp and objective writing. Keep it up!
Karunanidhi has a point of view if he has absolute certainty about who is his mother. Mind you, he did witness his own birth. Does he remember and believe in the golden moment of his birth. But I hope he believes in who his mother is and respects that lady. Is it faith or does he look for proof to respect his mother.
None of us have seen SriRam, Jesus,…The world runs on faith and we need to respect others’ faith.
By the same token, his daughter’s house at Bangalore was attacked. Is he absolutely sure of his fatherhood. Only mother is certain but not the father. Will he and Ms Selvi go for DNA testing before he decides to feel sad for his daughter’s plight . Whether he is sad or not for Selvi, I felt bad. Why punish the daughter for the father’s fault. Karunanidhi has all my karuna because his Nidhi is squandered. May any God of his choice bless him with a bit of humility.

A very timely article. Lord Ram lives in the hearts of millions. To rake up a controversy on his existence is needless.
Let all politicians stop playing politics in the name of religion.

Very well written article and interesting too. In India it is very easy to make fun of the Hindu Idols. I can give lot of examples where a person who is Hindu making statements against their Idols. They are the real culprits and unfortunately our law is with them (Boneless Law) so, we must beat them on road. Sir, can you please write something on the latest Apex Court Judgement in MF Hussain’s case. Apex Court says nudity is Art and the Court can not punish an Artist (MF Hussain) who has drawn nude protraits of Devi Saraswati, Laxmi and our beloved Bharat Mata.

What are we ? Dead bodies ? Only dead bodies do not have any feelings.

    Regards

    Shekhar
