Fat people need to be banned. At least from public places.
Obese people consume a lot of space, especially in crowded cities. Valuable real estate is usurped by these large mammals. Just like you see signs on a small street that say ‘No Heavy Vehicles Allowed’, we should have signs on streets that say ‘No Heavy People Allowed’. Imagine having to jostle with the crowds in a Mumbai local. Throw a few fat people in and you stand no chance. Smaller people shouldn’t need to make space for these human equivalent of SUV’s. Since Pepsi and Coke are now being banned in most states and also in schools and offices, the soft drink companies have started selling the colas to farmers. Farmers are using these colas as pesticides and spraying them indiscriminately in their fields, causing greater concern for environmentalists. Over indulgent mothers are now worried that children will start eating more vegetables and consume coke clandestinely through natural means. Read more »

His famous words were ignored for decades until we hit the late 90’s and the younger generation decided to go Gandhian. Minimalist clothing is in. Tank tops, low necks, low waists, even lower waists, backless .. wow .. everything is in. Gandhi would have been proud!! Alas, our academicians are not.

Today there were serial blasts in over 6 trains(and one station, a total of 7 blasts) in Mumbai city. The time the bombs detonated was 6:00 pm, which is the time the trains are full as office goers return home. The timing was bang on target, maximum bodies in a minimum time frame. I’ve traveled Mumbai trains in peak hours and people barely get space to stand. A bomb exploding in such a confined place would definitely do it’s job. Read more »

I’m socially at that stage where everyone around me is having sex. And they’re making this knowledge very public with a,” I have some good news”.
What’s good news about having kids? After all aren’t kids the same nasty creatures that have robbed me of my friends and turned them into that extremely weird species called parents?
KIDS. That 4 letter word!!

…and Why You Should Too
(This is from one of my older writings, but still relevant.)
Consider the following: the girl makes persistent phone calls to the actor, addresses him flirtatiously by his first name. She does not object to his sexual pass, “I’ll give you a massage if you are tired or you can give me a massage if I am tired,” and invites him late at night to her hotel room, serves him vodka with the excuse of seeking professional guidance. — The Indian Express
This raises many issues. Read more »
