IndianExpress: ARMY officer Vijay More died a brave death. Shot through the heart while battling terrorists during Operation Rakshak at Baramullah, he killed two terrorists shortly before dying. His wife Deepali, who was pregnant at the time of his death, gave birth to a son in February 2005.
Ironically, their son was born with a hole in his heart, and Deepali now needs to find a job to fund his medical care. Despite her loss, Deepali, whose army father also died on the battlefield, remains determined to send her son into the armed forces when he grows up, if his condition improves.
